Our Services

Middle sChool

  • Through personalized, one-on-one sessions, student clients work with either Kate or Lisa, both trained executive functioning coaches, to identify their unique strengths and challenges, set meaningful goals, and build practical systems that foster greater independence, focus, and follow-through. Our individualized coaching provides students with the tools and strategies they need to strengthen core executive functioning skills—such as time management, organization, planning, prioritization, task initiation, and self-regulation.

  • Designed for students entering middle school, this hands-on, four-week class taught in-person by Kate helps make the transition from confident 5th grader to successful 6th grader a smooth one.

Students will learn essential skills for:

    • Rotating between classes and managing different teachers

    • Communicating effectively with teachers

    • Staying on top of long-term assignments and test prep

    • Working in groups and handling disagreements productively

    • Advocating for themselves with confidence

We also dive into not just how to study, but why good study habits and time management matter.

  • Why Summer?

Without the rigid structure of a school bell, middle schoolers often struggle with the "void" of free time. This class uses that unstructured time as a laboratory. By practicing EF skills on things they actually want to do, students build the cognitive muscles they’ll need to hit the ground running come September.

Launchpad is a 4-week, high-energy, project-based summer intensive designed specifically for middle schoolers who want to take the wheel of their own lives. Instead of worksheets and lectures, students learn to sharpen their "brain’s CEO" through real-world simulations, team challenges, and personalized hobby-planning. Think of your child as “The Maker”, “The Athlete”, or “The Host” as they pick an “Epic” to work on through the course. Projects are playgrounds for new EF Skills.

    What Students Will Master

    • The "Time Architect" Method: Moving beyond basic calendars to understand "time sensing"—learning how long tasks actually take versus how long we think they take.

    • Goal Setting (Without the Bore): Students pick a "Summer Epic" (e.g., building a PC, training for a 5K, or hosting an event) and learn to break it down into manageable, bite-sized "sprints."

    • The Focus Filter: Practical strategies to manage digital distractions and conquer the "wall of awful" that leads to procrastination.

    • Emotional Resilience: Tools for handling the frustration of a plan gone wrong and the flexibility to pivot when obstacles arise.

The Result: A student who doesn't just ask "What are we doing today?" but instead says, "Here’s the plan for today, and here’s how I’m getting it done.

  •  Teens may resist advice from their own parents, but they’re often open to hearing from other adults. Coaching Collective Nights create a space for high school students to connect with a network of local parents and professionals through short, guided conversations on careers, goals, and life skills. In a speed-mentoring style format, students rotate among 5–10 adults, coming prepared with questions, sharing their strengths and challenges, and practicing confidence, eye contact, and real-world communication. Each event is theme-based - linking discussion topics to real-life situations and job interview scenarios teens are likely to encounter as they grow up.

Mentoring

  • High school can be a time of self-doubt, pressure, and constant change. Teens face complex academic, social, and career decisions—often while most interactions happen through screens, limiting opportunities to build real-world communication skills. Our mentorship program pairs college-bound students with Coaching Collective professionals for guided, goal-oriented support. In monthly sessions, students share goals and challenges, ask questions about careers and college, and receive practical guidance from experienced adults outside their family circle. Mentors model professional communication and help teens practice face-to-face skills like confidence, curiosity, and active listening. These connections help students gain clarity, strengthen their social-emotional toolkit, and build skills that support success beyond high school.
